Subject: FW: Workshop on Multilingual Education, 10-21 July 2006, Bangkok
SIL International and Institute of Language and Culture for Rural Development at Mahidol University will be organizing a workshop: Planning for Multilingual Education in Language Minority Communities from 10 to 21 July 2006 in Bangkok . You may have received this information but I just wanted to share with you, in case you have not received. Facilitator is Dr. Susan Malone, International Consultant in Multilingual Education, SIL International. Please see attached information for more details.
It would be appreciated, if you could disseminate this information to your literacy and language issues counterparts who might be interested and whose work is firmly related to multilingual education planning. This could also be a useful training for some of you who are interested (more importantly who have time) or who have to be involved in MLE projects. The workshop is open and may be useful to everyone interested in literacy and education in language minority settings.
For more information about the workshop, please contact Ms. Feikje van der Haak at MSEA_RADCT@sil.org
Many thanks,
Ochiroo
